Clem Swimwear, founded in 2016 by J’Lysa Wilson, is a swimwear brand that provides unique swimwear for women of all shapes.
The brand is inspired and named after Clementine Johnson, J’Lysa’s late aunt. With Clementine’s influence and encouragement, J’Lysa pursued a career in fashion; graduating from The Fashion Institute of Technology in 2015. Clem Swimwear honors the legacy of her family by naming each swimsuit after a family member.
Swimsuits are designed by J’Lysa and hand crafted in New York using the finest Italian fabric that aligns the curves of a woman’s body to make her feel confident.
As a Black-owned swimwear brand, Clem Swimwear strives to break the stigma of diversity in fashion by collaborating with women and minorities, who are often underrepresented in fashion.
